The Orc Mask In action! Photo set 2 My LARP Halloween Mask

So the mask is done and it was time to test it. I needed a costume and a friend of mine Edward had all that I needed and more. He is in SCA and the costume he put together looked like I could have walked off the set of  Game of Thrones. My wife is a Photographer/Nurse so she and I went out to Hart Park, Bakersfield, CA to take pictures of this beast of a mask! we took over 200 pictures I will be posting about 5 each week here. Painting The Latex Orc Mask. (Part 2: Oil paints)

Rubber cement, Naptha, and oil paint. make up this highly volatile paint. (warring I'm not responsible for ANYTHING you do). The mixture has a huge amount of vapors, this requires you to wear a respirator mask when using. It is highly flammable NEVER use around an open flame.

Here I'm using the basic paints that came with the Monster Makers Basic Mask making kit. Again this kit is perfect for getting started.

Clean mask.

I went with a dark green /black


 Some VERY basic highlights with a dark yellow green

setting them in to look at the fit.

Big teeth in and all the Orc wants for Christmas is his two front teeth.

Starting to Create The Monster Teeth of the Orc for my First LARP Halloween Mask ( Part 2 )

First ultracal-30 pour.

2nd ultracal-30 pour.

Nice! clean. other side wall then pour ultracal-30

mold has Vaseline on it now.

Next side first pour.
